Kids

The Salt Kids Team creates a fun environment to help our youngest ones discover who Jesus is and how to share God’s love with others by engaging every child with the truth of the Bible. From helping with check-in, holding babies, and teaching lessons, there are many opportunities to serve within Salt Kids. Volunteers serve every other week.

Kids Check-in

In this role, volunteers help get new and existing families checked in at the Kids check-in kiosk. If you have a warm, welcoming and logistical focused personality, this would be a great role for you! The serving commitment is every, other week and you are often able to attend the same service you serve in. We ask you to arrive 15-30 minutes early depending on which service time you serve in.

Lead Teachers

In this role, we are looking for volunteers to manage the flow of the classroom using the provided curriculum, inform classroom assistants of how to help as needed, maintain the 3 R's of Respect (Respect for Others, Teachers, and What God has given us). If you are a member of Salt Church and would like to lead a classroom, this would be a great role for you! We have teachers in our 3-8 year old age

Assistants

We have two different age groups that assistants volunteer in: 0-2 year olds and 3-8 year olds. In the 0-2 year olds room, we ask that you care for the infants and toddlers of Salt Church by holding, playing, feeding them. In the 3-8 year old classroom, we are looking for volunteers to help students engage in the Bible lesson, play and interact with the kids, and assist in maintaining classroom order. If you enjoy kids and are able to take initiative in meeting needs in either classroom, this would be a great role for you!
